(a) Website Owner. Precipeace Inc. (“Precipeace” or “we” or “us”) is the owner of this website. Precipeace can be contacted by mail at [address], or by e-mail at [e-mail address]. This online privacy notice discloses Precipeace’s information practices for Precipeace.com, including what type of personal identifiable information is requested in order to make a purchase, how the information is used, and with whom the information is shared. [Note that other Precipeace websites may be governed by privacy notices containing different information practices applicable to those sites.]
(b) Anonymous Website Visits. In general, you can visit on the Precipeace website without disclosing any personal information. Precipeace does not keep track of the domains from which people visit us.
Precipeace collects certain general, non-personally identifiable information from all visitors, anonymous or otherwise. This includes, but is not limited to, type of computer and web browser, what pages visitor accessed, and limited information about search requests. This information is used to solve technical problems and to calculate overall usage statistics.
(c) Website Transactions. At times, Precipeace may need personal information regarding a customer. For example, to process an order or provide a subscription, Precipeace will need to know a customer’s name, mailing address, e-mail address and credit card details.
2. Personal Information That May Be Collected
(a) Identifying Information. In order to make a purchase or to access designated subscriber services, Precipeace will request a user to provide certain personal identifying information (“PII”). For consumers subscribing to our services, this PII may include: name, age, date of birth, gender, postal address, e-mail address, screen name, password, method of payment, and, if applicable, credit card number. The PII we collect from mentors who are providing coaching services through Precipeace may include name, age, gender, and professional licensing details. Precipeace may request additional information necessary to establish and maintain a user’s account.
(b) Information from Children. Precipeace does not collect or maintain information from users actually known to be under the age of 13, and no part of Precipeace’s website is structured to attract anyone under the age of 13.
(c) Lost or Stolen Information. If a customer’s credit card and/or password is lost or stolen, the customer should promptly notify Precipeace in order to enable Precipeace to cancel the lost or stolen information and to update its records with a changed credit card and/or password.
3. Uses Made of the Information
(a) Limited Uses Identified. Precipeace uses PII to match customers to mentors, and to offer various rewards to our customers. In addition, Precipeace uses PII to reply to inquiries, handle complaints, provide operational notices and in program record-keeping. Precipeace also processes billing and business requests related to website participation.
(b) Stored Information Uses. Precipeace stores the information entered on the Precipeace website. This information is used to compile a customer’s purchase history in order to enable Precipeace to recommend products, services, or special offers that would be of interest to a customer; to support customer interaction with Precipeace; to deliver customer purchases; and/or to contact customers about other Precipeace services and products.
4. Disclosure of the Information
(a) Within Corporate Organization. Precipeace may share your personal information within the Precipeace corporate organization, and may transfer the information to countries in the world where Precipeace conducts business. Some countries may provide less legal protection for customer personal information.
(b) Mergers and Acquisitions. Circumstances may arise where for business reasons, Precipeace decides to sell, buy, merge or otherwise reorganize its businesses in the United States or some other country. Such a transaction may involve the disclosure of PII to prospective or actual purchasers, and/or receiving such information from sellers. It is Precipeace’s practice to seek appropriate protection for information in these types of transactions. Also, in the event Precipeace is acquired, customer information will be one of the transferred assets.
(c) Agents. Precipeace may employ or engage other companies and individuals to perform business functions on behalf of Precipeace. These persons may be provided with PII required to perform their functions, but will be prohibited by contract from using the information for other purposes. These persons may engage in a variety of functions which include, but are not limited to, fulfilling orders, delivering packages, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments and providing customer services.
(d) Marketing Analysis by Third Parties. Precipeace reserves the right to disclose to third parties personal information about customers for marketing analysis; however, any information disclosed will be in the form of aggregate data that does not describe or identify an individual customer.
(e) Disclosure to Governmental Authorities. Under certain circumstances, personal information may be subject to disclosure pursuant to a judicial or other government subpoenas, warrants or orders.
(f) Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement. Precipeace cooperates with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. Precipeace will disclose any information, including Personal Information, to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process (including but not limited to subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of ourselves or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity we may consider to be, or to pose a risk of being, any illegal, unethical or legally actionable activity. Precipeace may disclose information, including Personal Information, to take precautions against liability. You should also be aware that Providers may be obliged to disclose information to law enforcement or other authorities to conform to their professional and legal responsibilities. Specifically, and without limitation, you should be aware that the law requires mental health professionals to disclose information and/or take action in the following cases: (a) reported or suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult; (b) serious suicidal potential; (c) threatened harm to another person; (d) court-ordered presentation of treatment.
5. Use of Computer Tracking Technologies
(a) No Tracking of Personal Information. Precipeace’s website is not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information not entered by visitors. Through website access logs, Precipeace does collect clickstream data and HTTP protocol elements, which generate certain kinds of non-identifying site usage data, such as the number of hits and visits to our sites. This information is used for internal purposes by technical support staff for research and development, user analysis and business decision-making, all of which provides better services to the public. The statistics garnered, which contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information, may also be provided to third parties.
Cookies can be stored on your computer for different periods of time. “Session cookies” only last for as long as the browser session and are deleted automatically once you close your browser. “Persistent cookies” cookies survive after your browser is closed until a defined expiration date set in the cookie (as determined by the third party placing it), and help recognize your computer when you open your browser and browse the Internet again. The Site uses first party cookies (cookies set directly by Precipeace) as well as third-party cookies, as described below.
We also use pixel tags (usually in combination with cookies), from the third parties described below, to get information about your usage of the Site and the Services and your interaction with email or other communications. Pixel tags are a technology similar to cookies that can be embedded in online content or within the body of an email for the purpose of tracking activity on websites (for example, to know when content has been shown to you), or to know when you have viewed particular content or a particular email message.

(c) Collection of Non-Identifiable Information. Precipeace may collect non-identifiable information from user visits to the Precipeace website in order to provide better customer service. Examples of such collecting include: traffic analysis, such as tracking of the domains from which users visit, or tracking numbers of visitors; measuring visitor activity on Precipeace’s website; website and system administration; user analysis; and business decision-making. Such information is sometimes known as “clickstream data.” Precipeace or its contractors may use this data to analyze trends and statistics.
(d) Collection of Personal Information. Precipeace collects PII from customers during a transaction. Precipeace may extract some PII about that transaction in a non-identifiable format and combine it with other non-identifiable information, such as clickstream data. This information is used and analyzed only at an aggregate level (not at an individual level) to help Precipeace understand trends and patterns. This information is not reviewed at an individual level.
We use different methods to collect data from and about you including through:
Direct interactions. You may give us your Identity, Contact and Financial Data by filling in forms or by corresponding with us by post, phone, email or otherwise. This includes personal data you provide when you:
- apply for our products or services;
- attend our events;
- create an account on a Precipeace website;
- subscribe to our service or publications;
- download whitepapers or other content;
- request marketing to be sent to you;
- enter a competition, promotion or survey; or
- give us some feedback.
Automated technologies or interactions. As you interact with a Precipeace website, we may automatically collect Technical Data about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns. We collect this personal data by using cookies, server logs and other similar technologies. We may also receive Technical Data about you if you visit other websites employing our cookies as described above in the cookie section.
Third parties or publicly available sources. We may receive personal data about you from various third parties and public sources as set out below:

Contact, Financial and Transaction Data from providers of technical, payment and delivery services based inside and outside the EU.

(e) Online Tracking. Online tracking technology enables website operators to collect personal information about consumers as they move across websites and other online services. Most browsers incorporate “do not track” (DNT) features in their privacy settings. When enabled, a DNT signal or request informs a website operator that the visitor does not wish to be tracked online. The website is currently designed only for tracking movement within the Website. Precipeace does not honor DNT requests, and does not treat visitors who make DNT requests differently from visitors who do not make DNT requests. Precipeace also does not differentiate between visitors who make DNT requests and visitors who do not make such requests, when it comes to the collection or usage of personal information. There are no third parties that conduct online tracking on the Website.
If you access the Site on your mobile device, you may not be able to control tracking technologies through the settings.

6. Information Security
(a) Commitment to Online Security. Precipeace employs physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard the security and integrity of personal information. Billing and payment data is encrypted whenever transmitted or received online. Personal information is accessible only by staff designated to handle online requests or complaints.
(b) No Liability for Acts of Third Parties. Precipeace will exercise all reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of customer personal information. However, transmissions protected by industry standard security technology and implemented by human beings cannot be made absolutely secure. Consequently, Precipeace shall not be liable for unauthorized disclosure of personal information due to no fault of Precipeace including, but not limited to, errors in transmission and unauthorized acts of Precipeace staff and/or third parties.
8. Access Rights to Data
(a) Information Maintained by PRECIPEACE. Upon customer’s request, Precipeace will provide a reasonable description of customer’s personally identifiable information that Precipeace maintains in its data bank. Precipeace can be contacted by e-mail at [provide e-mail address] with such requests.
(b) Corrections and Changes to Personal Information. Help Precipeace to keep your personal information accurate. If your personal information changes, or if you note an error upon review of your information that Precipeace has on file, please promptly update your account to provide the new or correct information.
10. Data Retention
How long with you use my personal data for?
We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.
By law we have to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for six years after they cease being customers for tax purposes.
